Elim Village brings the best in housing, wellness, and care together so that seniors and can age in place. We worked together with Elim to bring two websites—one for each village—into one. This required restructuring content as well as some subtle visual identity changes, all while keeping the unique needs of the primarily senior demographic in mind.

Brand Vision

Elim Village’s visual identity had a solid foundation, however, as the organization grew, there was no system in place for addressing village-specific materials. We worked together with Elim’s marketing and communication team to create a family of logos as well as complimentary colour palettes for both the overarching Elim Village brand and the individual villages. The result was a cohesive look with elements that work together to keep the entire suite of materials on brand.

“Michelle and her team were the perfect partners for our website redesign. There were some unique challenges in our project that required an expert team to solve, and Form Meets Function delivered. They listened deeply to understand our brand, learn our needs, and then were professional, prompt, and comprehensive in their delivery. Our project spanned an entire year from start to finish, and it was nothing short of delightful to work with such competent professionals every step of the way.”

Website Vision

Elim Village had a website but it was poorly organized and challenging to navigate. Their website was divided in two, by village, which made things confusing for first-time visitors and a headache for staff to maintain. We took inventory of their existing content, edited and reorganized it, and added more user-friendly language that resonated with their audience. The result was an age-appropriate, custom-built WordPress site that was user-friendly and on brand.
