Dynamic Fenestration
Brand strategy, visual identity, logo design, website design
Dynamic Fenestration offers high end architects, luxury home builders, and affluent home owners custom window and door solutions. With a new name (formerly Dynamic Architectural Windows & Doors) and a deeper understanding of their brand, Dynamic Fenestration was ready for a redesign. We worked with Dynamic, in collaboration with Pohl Strategic, to create a visual identity, logo, and website that better reflects their “creativity is limitless” ethos.
“We asked Michelle to help us bring our branding up to date. We work with high end architects and need a very nuanced brand that is multi-faceted. Michelle proved she could very quickly grasp the big picture and interpret that understanding into our brand design. ”

Brand Vision
Dynamic collaborates with visionaries to deliver window and door solutions that make cutting-edge, award-winning architecture a reality. We worked with Dynamic to help better articulate the brand in both visual and written form. Dynamic’s belief in creativity as limitless was used to direct the visuals. We showcased their portfolio of boundary-pushing architecture through story telling using professional photography and sleek, modern typography that emulates their work.
Logo Concept
For the logo, we took cues from architecture. We used the architectural symbol for a 180 degree swing door to represent the full-spectrum of possibilities Dynamic offers their clients. This full swing door worked perfectly to form the “D” icon. The D logo icon was used as the basis to create a family of icons that reflect architectural symbols used throughout the website and communication materials. Gotham, a typeface inspired by architectural lettering from mid-century New York City, was used for the lettering in Dynamic Fenestration.
“Michelle created a new logo design that we’re delighted with—we can be pretty picky and hard to please. Attempts by other brand designers had fallen by the wayside. Michelle delivered very promptly and captured our essence perfectly. She’s a pleasure to work with and we will be continuing to work with Form Meets Function on an on-going basis.”

Website Vision
Dynamic had a website but it was massive and challenging to navigate. We partnered with Pohl Strategic to wade through the existing content, and edit and reorganize the site in a way that put Dynamic’s target audience (architects) first. The result was a custom-built WordPress site that was user-friendly and on brand.
